Slow cruising around the Med looking for a new home, with only the Italians letting them have a temporary Visa. -Original plans where impractical after launch, so they were docked and made a nice magnet for Algerian aircraft to get blasted out of the air by Italian FC! :woohoo:

Word has it that due to lack of volunteers, they need to press convicted criminals into service as pilots for the fighter escort of Algeria's heavy bombers. Really not an enviable job... :cannon:

The first of Spain's provinces of the Pyrenees have been captured. Valiant attempts to thwart the advance/block retreat and supply lines were noted, but also have been rendered moot. The troop numbers are just too unequal. Of worthy note, were the Spanish ME 262's on FC. Reality aside, it's pretty cool how these jets blow past propeller driven fighters to get at the bombers!

Enemy shipping from Gibraltar to Malta meet continued and increasing harassment.

unfortunate the way it turned out Algeria and myself were looking forward to a good fight in Europe but other than a few brief turns we each held a Spanish port we really never had a reasonable place to bring troops and supplies into. I have armies sitting around in morocco and thousands of arm points that should have been in france. Now if you want to come to Africa....

What stopped you guys from having those ports? We were counting on a heavy influx in xValencia and xBordeaux that would give us big headaches... instead we only found a handful of damaged (in your case very badly damaged) divisions as only proof of african presence in mainland Europe (yet).

When you guys closed shop in the Spain/France area, we assumed you had your hands full in the Middle East. When we saw the ports revert back to Spain it was an "oh well" moment, as it would have spiced things up for us had you stayed. Se la vie.

Our maps show on tech 48, Morocco owned Barcelona, and Algeria owned Valencia. That's just 10 turns ago.

Furthermore, Spain was at war with Italy. Either our information was outdated by 48, or your recollection is off. Possibly both.

Spain has attacked Italy at xMarseilles with a tactical air strike on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 (Tech 48)

Sounds pretty accurate to me...
