Clearly the Portuguese alliance is too strong on the Atlantic coast to attempt an invasion. As his ally the USA has done by bombarding xLisbon with a fleet of 6 CA and 6 BB. So they are prepared to challenge Portugal. They will regret it, of course. Then that is a huge mistake by that alliance. While Morocco has been hugely successful taking Algeria his British tech is a big disadvantage in Africa moving forward. Not to mention trying to land successfully against an organized TA group such as the Portuguese boast is suicidal at best. Canada and U.S. Should've landed at Oran and Algiers.
