What does it take for this guy to reply? Do I need to kill his fleet? Serously, Plekton Convocation, you need to turn your ship around and leave. Consider that system you are in a my border with you. You stay on your side of the warp point, I will be staying on mine.

However Ive noticed a few strange things, first the ship I encountered was a ship type (Plekton Emissary - 96,000 tons)
Usually its science cruiser, etc thats rather empire specific.
Also another of my empires has discovered a item of technology who's perquisite is: Prerequisite Technologies: <Plekton Tech>
Me thinks this is more then just another empire....

The Plekton are mentioned in the historical notes:-
"References to the Rigellians, Hivers, the Pride, the Fetwhar, Tellerites, Valtavians, the Plek'ton and some
sort of machine race.."
It could be a matter of a player choosing a name based on this, the equivalent of calling your empire The Tckon Alliance.
Then again, I don't recall ever seeing an empire number of 5000 or above.

To my knowledge the Gosht-Khor had ID #5068.

I have the Gosht-Kohr as #2296, but I have been known to be wrong from time to time. :-)

As that one was the only one over 5000, you seem to be right by #5000 being odd.

Seems reasonable to me. An alien race is wandering through your territory and won't respond to hails.
Just out of interest, could you post the Plekton fleet sighting? Was it a "Plekton Emissary" too?

Not surprisingly, its full of plekton tech, ignores shields and has no shields. This fleet shoudn't pose any danger to you by itself, but I wonder if it heralds something more.
Some initial guesswork (and I have several ANZs):-
Parasitic Bore - weapon
Bioelectric Mantle - armour
Nidamental Gland - armour
Plektonite Armor - armour
Pulsejet Siphon - engine equivalent to Mk VI Nuclear
Transdimensional Displacement Pod - jump drive
Stellar Leech - fighters
Internal Cavity - fighter bay? fuel tankage?
