"Pacifism is a shifty doctrine under which a man accepts the benefits of the social group without being willing to pay--and claims a halo for his dishonesty."
Robert Heinlein Double Star
"If you will not fight for the right when you can easily win without bloodshed; if you will not fight when your victory will be sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a small chance of survival. There may even be a worse case: you may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves."

I posted a note about the delay in the ... Turns Are In thread - moving and new internet connection causing delays. I hope to have everything finished up by late tonight.

And a minimal delay while living with a move is most appreciated!

Well, let's hope Lord Uriel reads the board first next time!
Much appreciated Pete - if there'd even been a gap this time and you'd just let us know beforehand, then that would have been fine too. Hey, my daughter is now very happy that her room has been finished in Sugared Lilac. If you're able to get the turns finished, then I can be totally not-guilty whilst I get to look at them tomorrow and daughter moves all her stuff back in again - more tidily we can only hope.....
I hope you can have a day off tomorrow too - you don't have to get everything sorted out immediately (well, that's what I've told my dearest every time we've moved.....
Welcome to your new house...
