Maybe you didn't actully kill it. Perhaps the Pathfinder self-destructed a moment before you actual hit him with all them fighters and missiles, just to stick it to you and have your crew go into disarray and fight amongst each other over who killed it first.

Thats the cruelest treatment to a pathfinder I have seen thus far :lol:
