Hi Russ,
I wonder if you could switch board time from Greenwich? to MST? I think it would be useful since I suspect most users are in US.

Hi Jack,

I checked and the base board time is set to MST (GMT - 7). You can go to your "My Controls" and edit your board settings (which includes a time) so that you can adjust it to your time - it may be that you have a default GMT time setting that is throwing you off?

As a real surprise to me the other day I discovered that we weren't allowed to use GMT anymore - it's now got to be called UTC or Universal Constant Time - and we suspect the silly abbreviation is because it's in that equally silly French language - must be those damned Europeans again....

We can get away with calling it Zulu still, however - that was perhaps just too ingrained!

Its OK Ur-Lord. Just the passing of Empire. Those of us in English speaking countries will continue to refer to it as GMT of course. cool.gif

It's just because the French are still peeved that the Meridian went through Greenwich and not Paris. Talk about holding a grudge!

Thanks Russ,

When I managed a board for my sister's web-company, it could only be done by someone with system privileges, so I just assumed that this was the case here.
