I have an idea for a special game. Five players only. Each player is randomly allotted eight countries, players get to choose the tech as normal. No PA's allowed. Would it be workable? It would certainly be a good forum for long standing grievances to be settled (or made worse.)

I think are on to something but let me refine it. You have smaller games in which an area is used. ie Central Europe only - GB, Ireland, Denmark, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Yugoslavia, Rumania, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, Poland, Austria, Hungary.

I know it is a shame that Spongy is still alive in game 83, but until now I have not found a good strategy to invade Iceland with German technology. But I work on this problem.
