Turkey army trapped at batman dies this turn-99 level airfield wiped out last turn.. The Turkish airforce is significantly smaller now. Turkish SS army in Syria forced back into turkey now under 15%.

World report will be busy next couple of turns... No other Turkish armies in sight that's a shame what do my other three armies do!?

And where is the Greek airforce that was promised!?

 

I've been biding my time with Russia, my airforce was needed a couple turns in turkey. Plus 120 orders goes fast...

Like Lukas said, you have DSM advantage, we have CSC advantage. Russians Tech also has the better bombers, only American Tech is better in that regard. Lots of advantages and disadvantages. I don't think tech choice makes the game unequal after turn 73, except for US Tech being to strong.

 

Of course, there are some + and - in the techs, better bombers here, better range there, etc...

But sorry, there's no way of having some sort of equal terms in the extension... and i think you are all very aware of that.

 

DSM is a factor, which clearly has it's impact, but it does only have some %-effects but not an "absolute" one.

(and by the way, with the King-Tiger, DSM is on your side again)

 

This is very clearly the case with CSC ...

0%-chance to escort Russian bombers against CSC-9-fighters... and even the very good US-fighters only have a 50%-change to protect their bombers.

So CSC is a real killer and while you will be able to pound us with acceptable losses, this will not be the case on the other way around...

 

Our airfoces will only be usable for a very limited time due to their unbearable losses (either taken in the air or when you destroy our AB's while we cannot do so vize versa) ....

or on "safe" targets, reducing our tactical options on the ground in a way we cannot do much anymore even there.

 

Again, we stay in the game as you all wished to continue ... but there won't be any serious balance left for our group and we won't be able to seriously contribute to an "epic final round until only one remains"...

We can,t all stop buidling CSC 8 and 9 planes just because the Russians do not have a CSC 8 or better fighter.

But I do agree that the game was not buildt to accomodate play after turn 73 and that there are some imbalances in the Tech.

 

Two possible solutions:

- voluntary handicap. Like Baltic States and Italy not building Me-262's OR

- fixing the problem with the tech pack. This would rquire some cooperation from Russ

 

I wonder if it were possible to add some units (Coming Tech 74) to redress the imbalances. The following units arrived just too late to be used:

 

P-80A Attack plane (Fighter)
First production model in August 45. (T76). CSC 9 heavy fighter. Heavier than the Me 262 and less ATA but better range and TAC value.

 

Yak-3U (fighter)

Special high-speed version of the venerable Yak-3. Should be available at the same time. Still used as a high-speed racer today.

 

Centurion I (Armored division)

DSM 0.7 armor. The centurion should be comparable to the Pershing, without the HA variant.

 

And to give the Germans something they lack: consider one of the many strong, but expensive 4-engined bombers.

Fully clear, that you can't stop building the good fighters.

There's still a "normal" game to be finished (ending 73) - what also makes it difficult for some sort of voluntary handicap as it's, of course, not more than fair that the techs with late advantages also get some benefit on them.

 

So, Russ would have to help then...

 

Just to be clear, if no solution is found, we still try to do our best to resist ...
But it's probable not the long and epic battle some had in mind when the extension-idea came up :)

Centurion being a British tank, or American?

 

Adding another fighter to the already fabulous US tech lineup after turn 73 seems a bit much. HGA is better than the Tu-2 at ranges up to 8. Fighters are devastating with their range and TAS rating. Being able to escort the Skymaster up to range 18.... Wow. CSC 8 isn't bad. It's just not 9.

A bit surprised by this reaction.

An Alliance to Transjordan was offered way back ago, and it was not accepted.

So when Morocco asked for moral support it was given.

Well, the original offer was made in turn 21 and kept open untill 53.

In game turn 21 I had no relation with Morocco whatsoever and we were still fighting over Berlin.

What can I say must have been a personal choice... No matter what Iraq supports its allies so that we all can have a New Babylon. That has been the goal from the beginning.

Next to fall: Turkey, Morocco, Greece in that order.

The Iraqi airforce can only be stopped by one thing: bad weather

Tip to my enemies: build fighters... Oooh wait we will soon have jets nevermind?☠⚔??

I have no idea how this game will develop. That is one if the charms of this particular game.

For the moment I have more than enough work to do in Central Europe and I believe that Turkey, Greece and Morocco disagree with you.

- The Middle Eastern alliance seems to have pushed back the Balkan counterattack into Syria.

- The fortunes of war in the north seem to go back and forth

- With the growth of the air force often enough one city of province seems to be targetted for air strikes coming from the whole of the enemy team. It feels bad to be on the recieving side of such an attack. One consolation: it happenes to everyone.

 

And to Predator: once my country is within reach of your airforce you are within reach of mine. And a Me 163 qualifies as a fighter.
