Game # 70 of Victory! started on June 3rd, 2003 as a full game and is now closed to standby position requests.

 

The next regular game of Victory! is now accepting registrations. Mail, email or fax (303-920-7270) your game registration in if you are interested in this game. If you have any questions, contact me.

 

Two special games of Victory! are currently being offered. These special games will set up only if we get 30+ people lined up to play so be advised that there may be a bit of a wait for one of them and if you want to get started as soon as possible then your best bet is to sign up for a regular game. Rope some of your friends into a special game if you want to help move along the setup of one :)

 

Special Game #2 -- Advance Start Game -- Status: Getting Close!!!

 

An advanced start game begins on Tech Period 25 instead of of the normal Tech Period 1. All positions start with the usual starting units and with higher than normal starting stockpiles. Since you are beginning on TP 25...combat is possible right out of the gate (although this is very limited on your first turn cycle since nobody will have any offensive units available at the start) and you can submit up to 90 orders per turn cycle as well. The turn interval is 14 days and ends with turn cycle 73 as usual. All other game mechanics are the same.

 

Interest has been good for this variant and the game is getting close to setting up!

 

Special Game #2 -- 21 Day Game -- Status: Low Interest

 

This version of Victory! is identical to a regular Victory! game with exception to the turn cycle...21 days between turns instead of the normal 15. A little more time between turns to plot your moves, conduct diplomacy and/or simply a little more time to work with so that you can more easily work the game into your day to day schedule.

 

Interest is low in the special variant so far.
