Horus Posted February 7, 2005 Report Share Posted February 7, 2005 Hi, just felt having to say something too. On a daily basis I am thinking/working/pondering/plotting (..) about this great game. It is crazy, it even drives my girlfriend crazy now and then, but this fact does show the quality of this game and dedication others involved have that make this game great. This wouldn't be if the game wasn't facillitated and 'mastered' the way it is... So RTG many thanks for this excellent game. You guys do a great job. Russ and Pete: Althow I don't know the details (I don't need to) I have deep sympathy and understanding for the position you guy's are in. Let me just say that had my ex-wife been belived, the accusations she made would have left me with no life left to rebuild with. I prabably{sic] wouldn't even be here to write this. That said, the proffesionalizim I have expirenced with RTG has been top notch in my opinion. I work in a service industry (security) where it is imparitive to keep a proffesional attitude in every situation, and thats not always an easy thing to do in my line of work. I like to think I know proffesional folk when I meet them and I've seen nothing less from Russ and Pete. Another writer wrote how he had been away for a time and when he came back all his info was still on file and he was remembered. I had the exact same expireance with Russ and was amazed and very impressed with this situation. Russ - Pete, I'm sure you already know this but you guy have much loyal support and we will get through this with you. If some one is making attacks against RTG they attack us all and thus hurt us all, not just you guy's. I'm sure many off us, but speeking for my self, are in this for the long hall right along side you. Keep up the outstanding job . I can only possibly say this about one other gaming company out there, and I've been with a few over the years. None have kept me as engrossed as Victory! Keep up the excellent work. I've had the fortune of knowing Pete and Russ through my family and going to high school in the same town as the old RTG HQ. Seems to me that Pete and Russ are two guys who decided that being in the game industry is far superior to being outside of it and they are willing to take the good and with the bad in that regard. I have no clue what prompted the Open Letter FROM RTG....but...I'm pretty sure that accusastions of "insider info trading" are blatantly false. C'mon....why would they endanger their reputation -- which is the cornerstone of their livlihood -- by giving inside intel to a player? I'm happy to see that I'm not alone in recognizing their efforts to bring us good service and great products. Good riddance to the paranoid freaks who accuse Pete and Russ of such things.
