don
To the Germany leader: As the great poet Heinrich Heine wrote "Should the subduing talisman, the Cross, break, then will come roaring forth the wild madness of the old champions, the insane berserker rage of which the northern poets sing. That tailsman is brittle, and the day will come when it wil pitfully break. The old stone gods will rise from the long-forgotten ruin and rub the dust of a thousand years from their eyes; and Thor, leaping to life with his giant hammer, will crush the Gothic cathedrals!" Are you , HPW, the tailsman so proclaimed? Do you rave "Yes, we are barbarians! We want to be barbarians! It is an honorable tilte. We shall rejuvenate the world." If this is you Patton tips his hat to you and wishes you a quick demise. Patton USA
HPW
Nice "warcry" Don! Me a "Barbarian"? A dumb and stubburn pre-historical relict of lost aeternities? Me? The one kissed by Hera´s love and Dionysus´s strength - a barbarian? I am most probably a typical "Bavarian": Cruising along in my BMW, riding my wife to the kitchen and driving all others insane... Saint Michael
Ah Germany, The first thing to learn is not to beleave anything on this page, remember, this is the Propaganda Ministry. You need to read between, and than again, read between the lines. You may have friends that you are not aware of yet. Hang in there. be strong. HPW
Watch out of Austria, I hear hes a cunning linguist who will say one thing and mean something completley different. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I can not quite make out where you got this intention from! Obviously there seem to have been negative experiences with newbies because, to my opinion, I can not quite understand why there is this much anger adressed towards me..!? By the way - there is a difference between a Barbarian and a Bavarian. If you need further explanation just leave me a PM. But I also wish you luck and lots of fun during the game! Why is it you dont reveal the country you will guide? CU HP
HPW
Thx for your nice words Saint_Michael! I didnt want to offend one of the "veterans" here. But maybe I underestimated the prowess that lie within some challenging words coming from a country like Germany and the mixture with the greed some experience when they hear about a "newcomer" But at least I think it was too sad if this all would lead to an empty forum - am I wrong?
