hobknob
Okay, just want to be sure how this works. Lets say that Empire A has a rating of 100 in Air Defense and Empire B has a rating of 400 in Air Defense. Are the two ratings added or is the highest taken only? Would the TAC show 500 Air Defense (summed ratings) or 400 Air Defense (highest only)? Good thing this is a completely hypothetical situation.... Sakarissa The Circle Kindler & Gentler Warmonger Don't get too caught up in the numbers. Each empire benefits from it's own tech and that is it. On the GATK result each army will be shown with it's own TAC results. This is the same for multiple armies from the defender or from multiple allies attacking together. After all the armies are shown there is the combined TAC rating and the odds and then the results. Empire A will never have any troop strengths adjusted for a tech possessed by empire B. If you want the benefit of empire B's tech then empire B will have to bring the troops that can best use that tech.
Sakarissa
I pretty much figured that. For instance, if Empire A had a total TAC strength of 8000 in Air Def and Empire B had a 600 in Air Def then the total for the joint op would be 8600 Air Def and that would be compared to Empire C's (and any allys) total Air Def for the actual odds figuring. Not a problem since this is all hypothetical..... Sakarissa The Circle
