Locklyn
Off topic ? Say, was that your thousandth post? xxxoooxxx Just where is this perpetuity place? Yes it seems it was, a rather slow night here at work and I am at the cardiac telemetry desk so can't leave the room. Sorry that I haven't gotten back to you on your email, juggling full time studies with a full time work, teenage daughter and turning 39 on sunday But all is well in the land of Lars otherwise. Will write soon though promise! /Locklyn
WKE235
As long as you dont see a big smiling cat face with too many teeth, you should be good to go. A caterpillar smoking a toad is not a good sign either... Can we get any further off topic /Locklyn Sure .. how far off topic do you want to go? We could wander off into discussing the differences between Liberlism, Socialism, and Facism and how the quasi-real world of SuperNova can act as a simularcum of the political upheaval across the globe. Or we could take a quick jaunt with Spaceman Spiff through the world of Calvin and Hobbs, build some snow fiends, and discuss how our favorite strips have applied to how we act in Supernova. Another direction could be writing about the 10 best and worst actors in hollywood, and discuss theories as to which actor has had the greatest influence on Pete and Russ and their game designs. SO, what's your poison?
Krelnett_of_Kraan
Which actor has had the most influence on geek culture? Hugo Weaving (V for Vendetta, Lord of the Rings, the Matrix) or Sir Ian McKellen (X-Men, Lord of the Rings)? Discuss. Ooh, or Christopher Lee (Lord of the Rings, Star Wars prequels)
looker
One should not forget the words of Pogo Possum. When asked about his empire in SNROTE he replied: We have met the Enemy and it is us.
Breoghan
I dunno - seems to be a lot of galactic leaders sampling the wares at the local starbars (heavily sampling, apparently), judging by the recent posts.

Don't blame us, when they start about 'staring rabbits'; that's Advanced Pharmaceutical country!
rfouasnon
I prefer to use toads...one notices them much less than one would notice the staring wabbits......

Don't blame us, when they start about 'staring rabbits'; that's Advanced Pharmaceutical country! No need for that. Just drop the toad into a tankard of starbar ale, and chug it down. Same effect at a far lower cost.

The 'StarBar' tenders guide lists that as a variation of the Car-bomb called the 'Swamp Buggy Blaster". Greatest impact on Nerd Culture? Dave Arneson & Gary Gygax, hand's down. Sadly, they're both gone now; we just lost Dave.
