looker
At least he didn't answe like this: See that there Big Blue star? And just to the left of it is that dim red dwarf? Well, head straight towards the dward for about 28 light years then make a left. Go about 47 light year till you come across a main sequence binary star with three planets all Gas Giants with no moons and turn up at a 78 degree angle. Keep heading straight until you see the the Type IV Orange star to your right and that's the spot. If you spot the black hole, you've gone to far. Just sling shot around the thing back the way you came. In this case an ionized cloud might obscure your view so turn on the wipers and look out to the left till you see the big satelitte with Roman symbols on it. That's the bypass to the system. Is that from Red Dwarf? Sure seems like directions Lester would give. Nope ... just making it up. But I've got so much sci-fi stuff in my head, I could be channeling Red Dwarf when I make it up. And as for Trek .. you can argue which was better, and which looked the best, etcetera... But I just enjoyed sitting there watching them all. Even the worst of them were better than some of the stuff they put on TV elsewhere as entertainment. A true pearl of wisdom cast before those whose up turned snouts block all of their field of view except those snouts. Well said WKE
Vince
................. A suggestion for you Obsidian. You should contact The Black Cloud. You can commiserate with each other on how it feels to lose two homeworlds on back-to-back turns. Wow! Such arrogance! While the snipets of your and Blend me Another ships, etc.... have been impressive - If I ran into them in mass, I would term them more of a challenging inconvenience. Sure wish I knew a route to this battle ground - win or lose it would be interesting and would deflate your ego a bit.

Vince
Nice non-response. How about answering Blend's question rathering than diverting the subject? In your original post in this thread, your statement "If I ran into them in mass, I would term them more of a challenging inconvenience. Sure wish I know a route to this battle ground - win or lose it would be interesting and would deflate your ego a bit" certainly has the tone of a challenge. Was that your intention? Or were you simply bleating on, all talk with no intention of action? Oh, and couldn't you come up with something a bit better as a diversion? Your astute powers of deduction lead you to believe that Coconutheads and Blendmeanother are run by MMB and you have 'data files'? Yes, please. Go ahead and send the 'data files' to either Coconutheads or Blend Me Another. Let's see exactly what you imagine you have. I suppose that included in these 'data files' are the secret plans to the Death Star?? Come on, at least try to be creative. In fact, why not post something from these 'data files' right here. Give us a HW system name or two... or is this more hot air from you? I must have struck a nerve since you obviously lost your ability to comprehend English or was it just YOUR attempt at diversion? Its a bit mind boggling that you interpreted "wish I know a route to this battle ground" as "I have your data files" There is the post you requested. Again thanks for the info. Sir White Shadow: you are a gentleman and a scholar. Coconutheads and Blendmeanother have absolutely nothing in common , nor are the positions influenced / run by MMB.....I know this for a fact . "nothing in common" - please..... have you not looked at the ship designs they've posted or imperial symbols, fighting side by side - brothers in arms, etc...? Now the MMB angle is certainly speculation, but there certainly are a plethora of similarities to support that line of thought.
rfouasnon
I said nothing in common with MMB.....you seem to selectively choose what to read and what to ignore......look at the whole thread , not parts of it . I clarified what I meant by nothing in common on my subsequent posting . Anybody can see the two positions are working together .
