You rightly spoiled the show Now go pat yourself on the back and do a little dance (oh and please come back and defend the fact that you exist for some added entertainment) Perhaps this event will inspire a future Senate to enact privacy and verification legislation. Until then, our votes may not really count........ The passage of GS BILL 061404-03 requires that a Senate member run for the new position of Secretary-Senator. I humbly hand over the duties I bestowed upon myself for the purposes of carrying us through the first session.
Senator Palpatine
How exactly does the right honourable Senator's math add up that an empire who abstained, somehow killed a bill that was voted against by more than 1/3 of the members? The fact is, according to your tally, #1351 could have voted YES for everything or NO for everything and neither would have changed the results. Hannibal
GS BILL 061404-01 [One Vote Per Player] FAILED So what we're saying is multiple empires under one player can all vote in the Senate.
ali-t-akua
I am a little confused Eturnus. Why did you change the deadline for the vote? In the original thread setting up the Senate you stated the voting could go until June 18 11:59PM MST (p. 5). When you issued the GS1 thread, it was changed to June 17. We certainly hope, and indeed believe that they are, a real race of sentients. Senator Logion 4579
EternusIV
Palpatine- 2/3 Vote required for GS Bills 01 and 02. If Shrubbists don't exist...total membership is 12...8 voted for it. Check yo math, y'all. <--- on you, beak-nose evil-emporer-dude Senator-elect ali-t-akua- Here is the Charter provision: 5) All votes are due by 11:59 pm MST the Thursday that turns are due.
