Fusion vs Nuke

We've heard it said (not that we've actually tried it, because A) we're so darn good at research and  we still think you're kidding about this 'combat' thing, so we're going for speed) that Mk III Nuke takes less time to research than Mk I Fus and Mk IV is relatively even faster than Mk II Fus.

Is this information in error?

To the best of our knowledge, Mk I Fusion has the same RCPoint cost as Mk III Nuclear (both for Engines and Jump Drives indeed) and has the same thrust rating. The total choice, as the ANZ indicates, is this choice over 'stability' and resistance to combat damage.

Have you finissshed Mk VI Nuclear Enginesss?  We are curiousss to know how you know that the Nuclear Engine line topsss out at Mk VI?

Fishing per chance??????

We didn't actually say that it topped out at Mk VI, you said that......

But Nuc's do top out - we've seen the ANZ!

And if you really wanted to know where our engine research had got to, then you only have to read our scribe's First Chronicles.....

Greetingsss Ur Lord,

it hasss been a long time since we have talked. A pleasssure asss alwaysss to have open communication with you.

It wasss actually you that sssaid the nuclear engine line ended

The Nuclear line does indeed have a dead end, but plain old Nuclear engines are supposed to have a 'higher' integrity than the other 'faster' lines.

We sssaid,

It isss belived that enginesss ssstop at Mk VI, but hasss not been proven (or if it hasss been no one hasss publissshed it on the forumsss).

and have heard via core empiresss that could do ANZ'sss of any item (before Galactic Oversssight fixed that issue, alasss after we came into the galatic community) that Mk VII Nuclear Enginesss do not exissst, but we have no proof, having not ssseen an ANZ of a Mk VII Nuclear Engine.

It isss odd that Fussssssion Enginesss appear to go higher to at leassst Mk VII and Nuclear ssstopsss. Basssed on Crossssssroadsss ssstatement.

We know that Mk VIII Fusion Engine excists....

We did notice that in your ssscribesss chroniclesss you mentioned Mk II Nuclear Enginesss. We aren't really fissshing, as we have gone down the Antimatter path, but are not to Mk VI yet, but we are curiousss about other pathsss

Regardsss, CTO Sssarasss
