I contacted Russ late yesterday, and he said there was only one country left (Iraq), so if I wanted that I needed to respond ASAP because he would give it out to the first player who asked. I responded within the hour, so I *assume* I've got it. Of course, I won't know for sure until I hear from Russ. Anyway, assuming I get Iraq, I'd certainly be willing to make diplomatic contact with my neighbors. By the way, I haven't played Victory! in several years, but I'm looking forward to it again. Anybody to afraid to announce vhich country his/she is running.... Since Vic72 ve call zhat zhe 'Norbert Disease'. Zhe symptoms are a lot of noisemaking, empty threaths und after a couple of turns quietly crawling back underneath zhe stone vhere he came from in zhe first place....
