Gjorhaan
I, Gjor'haan, called as a disciple of Gjo'jaol, Darkness of Darkness, and Shor'ha, his servant; to those of interest, in relation to Gosht Kohr, to those that have been sanctified in Darkness, disciples by calling, now including the Gosht Kohr, with all who in every place call upon Gjo'jaol for strength, present, once again, testament to the divine glory of Gjo'jaol: On quiet equidistant moon, under shadow of heavenly body, The cat and prophet agree to infinite peace, Gjo'jaol glorified. The wise queen retains her authority, in full, Agreed the Cauldron will not be stayed, save the queen. Unbelievers, do not appeal to the queen to seek mercy from the Cauldron, For the queen will not comply Remaining conditions are in sanctum Notice to all, action against the queen will rile the Cauldron Notice to all, no further concessions will be made against those who defy Gjo'jaol The Cauldron emptied, the blood of Gosht Kohr sanctified by rite, The Blood of Gjo'jaol flows through both sets of veins, yet both free to act of their own volition. Can the gracious glory of Gjo'jaol be denied this day?

ali-t-akua
Speaking for the SC, we are pleased that Gjor'haan has chosen the course of wisdom rather than that of anger. We shall sing chants to our ancestors in honor of both of you.
Sha'thar of the Gosht Kohr
Sha'thar took a deep breath, then stepped out onto the ledge overlooking the gathering place of the tribe. Her paws whispered over ground trodded by ancient lawgivers, ancestors who now whispered advice through the seers. The sea of onlookers gazed at the eldress silloutted against the light of the setting sun, banners of the Pride slowly fluttering in the savannah air. Her daughters were among the throng far below. "Proud Hunting Sisters of the Gosht Kohr. Today we enter upon a new season of peace. We know as hunters that to choose the wrong prey can be fatal... as fatal as allying with the wrong pride. We know that the Gjor'haan have hunted long and well. We may rule in our savannahs, but it would be foolish for us to believe that we ruled in all hunting grounds." The eldress paused, ears perked for any muttering... any disagreement. There was none. Her claws would stay clean this day. "Our great wars of planetary unification are long over. Only some of you can remember. The rest hear the tales from the learned, sing the sagas and live the words. The Pride now finds itself exploring new trails, unseen savannahs, and it is the wise huntress who befriends the prides in the new places and learns of prey through them. This day, the Hunting Sisters of the Gosht Kohr and the hunters of the new savannahs have met in peace! Our cubs need not fear dying in their dens any longer!" Another pause from the great cat. She had lost a relative when miscommunications caused a Gjor'haan vessil to fire upon a cargo ship. She would not loose more pride sisters. Not like that. She nodded curtly to one side, a cue. The banner of the Ghor'jaan unfurled in the position of honor, beside and slightly lower than the crimson-hued Pride Standard. "This is the mark of the new pride, our ally. Learn it. Teach your cubs! Sha'thar has spoken!" Sha'thar took a deep breath, tilted her leonine head back and with jaws gaped roared, a low rumbling sound that echoed into the long obsidian canyons of the great, silent city, the silence destroyed utterly by the answering roar of a million throats. Jodookus
Jodookus the Good, Emperor of all he surveyed smiled down upon his subjects and announced the wondrful news that Ghost Khor and Gjorhaan would forevermore coexist peacefully. The great masses cheered and roared their approval for a full 750 quatloos, an unprecedented duration only exceeded by the time he ascended to the throne these many yarns ago. Finally, after all the cheering had died down, a lone voice could be heard amongst the gathered crowd. Being a democratic and just society, a microphone was brought forward so the one lone voice could be heard by all. Testing, one two the lone voice could be heard and the crowd roared their approval once again. The cheers died and the one voice spoke and said. Uh guys??? Why are you all cheering? Granted we are most likely far from the combined strenght of Ghost Khor and Gjorhaan, but what if we arent as far as we'd like to be? What of those unfortunates who are within the grasp of Gjorhaan? Assuming that Gjorhaan has not changed his stated goal of purging the galaxy of nonbelievers what happens to those unfortunates who run into Gjorhaan? Will not the ships of Gjorhaan bristle with weapons produced from Ghost Khor iron and crystals and light metals? Will not the soldiers of Gjorhaan wear fibers and eat food concentrates from materials gleaned from trading with the Ghost Khor? It seems to me that while you all cheer, a stronger threat has arisen from this pact. The speaker set the microphone down and walked away to silence

Turok
I hope there is genuine reason for rejoicing. Personally I have my doubts and will still urge Sha'thar to build up defences. Is Gjor'haan trustworthy - I guess time will tell - but prepare for the worst

Is Gjor'haan trustworthy - I guess time will tell - but prepare for the worst <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think we can trust Gjor'hann. He seems to be pretty honest in his dipolomacy dealings, even if his most common diploamitc action is war. He seems honerable enough. Regardless, I think it is a good idea to build warships. Being allied with Gjor'haan will possilby drag you into his wars and he seems to have a lot of them.
