Sha'thar of the Gosht Kohr
An open question. Could one race's use of installations which modify global habitat (deep core heatsinks, others) negatively affect another race with different habitat needs with a colony on the same planet? The Gosht Kohr are planning to create a colony on a world containing a Collector's... work and relocation camp. We will be using our colony for cargo transfer and resource mining. Sha'thar Clan Eldress The Gosht Kohr <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Worry not, Oh furry one! All known climate-related installations only affect the population centers in which they reside. (No, you need not air-condition the entire planet, just your own set of domed cities. Your father will be most pleased!) Mining installations can affect the yield experienced in other pop centers on planet. Some non-climate related centers can have planet-wide, system-wide, or even empire-wide reach. (Imperial Zoo, various science installations, Penal Colonies, etc.) But I am fairly sure that even these only impact your own assets. And none of those modify living conditions.
