Prospective
Here's a question I've wondered about. It has to do with research, homeworlds and research centers. Since there are no physical research centers that can be built, what happens when a homeworld is captured? Does research stop? Or because there are no physical research center installations, does that mean it continues as long as you continue to submit turns? What happens to the bonuses supposedly generated by science installations? If you lose your homeworld but continue to own a science colony 'out on the fringes' with a full complement of science and imperial science installations, will you continue to receive the bonuses? Or because you HW is lost, will you get no further bonuses until it's recaptured?

If you bring all to a science colony with a full complement of scientists, your scientists will still generate breakthroughs. Normal Research in the 25 RCs is *not* affected at all. To recover from such a blow (loosing your HW) will not be easy but doable with a working alliance.
looker
Life goes on. Scientist still make breakthroughs. Tech is completed. Probably at a reduced rate, but it works.
