Lord Xaar
1 per 100 pop or 1 per system? Thanks! 1 per 100 pop... They do work nicely though, for the investment.
TErnest
1 per 100 pop or 1 per system? Thanks! 1 per 100 pop... They do work nicely though, for the investment. Depends on how easy it is for your race to come by the 90,000,000 or so Rare Herbs and Spices required. If you have no deposit, that investment is ... ... considerable. TErnest That's 1 per 100 POP for MAXIMUM effect. Of course you can still get a very decent effect with far fewer. So while you do need 15,000 Rare Herbs => 5,000 Improved Pharm for each center built, you really do not need to build 6,000 plus of them. ShadowKitsune
If you're willing to take the long view, you can set up a Convoy Route/Permanent Queue cycle that will continuously build Imperial Medical Centers until you get to the magical 100:1 ratio you're trying to achieve. You put the CON Order for a number of Imperial Medical Centers into a standing Convoy Route that executes once per turn cycle. The number of Imperial Medical Centers being above the 100:1 ratio as compared to your normal population growth rate. For example, if you normally gain 1000 Population per turn, instead of building 10 IMCs per turn, build 20. Then add a standing production queue order for 100,000 Improved Pharmacueticals. If you cannot "mine" the 300,000 Rare Herbs a turn, set up a standing production queue for that as well. Obviously, these are example values and you'll have to adjust them to fit your particular Empire's needs and capabilities. YMMV, -SK
