Example...I want to remove damaged division and add fresh ones to the (DD) army. Will that force drop from DD to HD? Can this be done in one turn? Existing the Deliberate Defense mode requires a primary mission so you wouldn't be able to move any units out of the force unless you spend a turn changing the defensive tactic. You would be able to reinforce a force in a Deliberate Defense mode by moving/merging units into that force - the new units would merge into the force and would immediately adopt the Deliberate Defense mode. So...you can shortcut the process when establishing a defensive force as long as you have at least one unit already in a Deliberate Defense mode but once the units are in place they would be locked in place until you spent a turn to exit that Deliberate Defense mode.
