I would also like the transporting aircraft to remain in the city of destination, but I can't find a command covering this situation. Can both AIR 40 and aircraft fly to another city and remain there? Hmm...no - there is an air mission that would allow you to transfer the troops but the air force would not transfer as well. Air forces can only rebase on the OMA, BT mission (or as a FE attached to a force executing an OMA, BT assuming you give orders for the FE to transfer as well).
