octagon999
I saw the preview, such as it was, for the up-coming release of Hitchhiker's Guide. Has anyone heard any details about it? When its going to be released? Anything? Bueller? Ferris Bueller?
ali-t-akua
June 2005 Its a Disney release. Of course Dolphins are the heroes so it will be an OK movie. And I want a day off like Ferris had.

And I want a day off like Ferris had. It's being produced by Touchstone, which is Disney's adult branch. This is a good thing, since I wouldn't want Disney undercutting the somewhat edgy humor and making it too warm and fuzzy. I am definitely looking forward to this one. - woolfe9
octagon999
Did some research over the weekend and read something by someone purporting to be close to the Douglas Adams family and knowledgeable about the movie and only had good things to say about it. Said its a shame that Mr. Adams isn't still alive to see the final product. I'm looking forward to it!
ali-t-akua
I saw the trailer in the theater (went to see National Treasure) and I was not impressed so count me amongst the sceptics. (Did not care for National Treasure either and I like a lot of Nicolas Cage movies.)
