miraeng
Dear Brother Don No Mun = defeat that is not true, defensive units keep a part of their power with out any munition. The Monk Monk, You are correct. A defencive army will sustain a DFP reduction of only 50% for munition shortfall... See quote below from the rules. Insufficient Munitions Supply will affect both the attacker and the defender but it will have a more pronounced affect on the attacker. An attacking force with insufficient munitions supply will suffer a temporary reduction in Offensive Firepower and Air Defense ratings equal to the percentage shortfall in munitions supply. A 20% munitions supply shortfall will, for example, result in a 20% reduction in the force's Offensive Firepower and Air Defense ratings. A defender force will suffer a temporary reduction in Defensive Firepower and Air Defense ratings equal to 50% of the percentage shortfall in munitions supply. A 20% munitions supply shortfall for a defending force will result in a 10% reduction in the force's Defensive Firepower and Air Defense ratings. Hope this helps. Norbert A bit continuos this no MUN. It's true they still defend well even without MUN. The added protection of a Legendary Fort helps no end. I only built INF 39's originally because I could build more for my bucks at the start of the game and attack out of all my boarder towns. Which usually scares the crap out new players. It did. I know all the pros and cons for that tactic but it's worked for me twice now. Apart from the threat of being attacked by the Canadyank axis I needed to go into xbilbao with a lot more force. I now have half a dozen JU-88's now which will go in first. I wont have to tell you if I'm successful or not It'll be in the events. Thanks for the input guy's. It's nice when you talk sense now and again. Paul
Meaty_Bites
You only have 6 JU-88 units?? It is one of the strongest air units TAS wise for the German tech, and its available fairly early. Why havent you been building more of them? They are excellent at offense, both against army and Naval, back them with a squadron of 110's, it makes things very painful for your opponent, even against the UK fighters. Hi Meat Yeah I know the JU-88's are powerful and I have been slow in producing them. I have had other priorities up till now. But I will be building them in ernest now. I think I'm in danger of being attacked by the Canadyank Axis. I have a lot of Home defences now but at the expence of Attack forces. Now I have my Ground forces where I want them I can build Air defence which will include JU-88's. The down side is my invasion of Morocco must go on hold because if it. This game makes me so frustrated sometimes. You see the likes of US & Canada building everything they want at will and I have to bugget here, there and everywhere. Anyway Meat my turn gets done very shortly so I'll keep you informed. Watch this spot! Portugals Premier Paul

You are indeed a 'great' soldier, killing wounded and crippled men is really a great accomplishment... Meanwhile your ally has lost another big city, the bulk of his capital warships and is starting to feel the attrition caused by the blockade and the sustained attacks on his industry and fighting units. With an ally like you who needs enemies! Good luck with your 'assisting' campaign! Greetings, Don President of the usA How were we supposed to know there were wounded soldiers on that Queen. Portugal Paul Dear Miraeng, My friends in Norway have DW-ed me a long time ago. They didn't seem to like the fact that my other friend in the North was ceding pieces of land to me. Go figure... But I guess Iceland has done something to your ships/planes? Serves those butchers right I say! When this war is over I will make a formal complaint against those who were responsible for "the slaughter of the crippled" as people back in the usA are calling it now. The newspapers have made some funny cartoons of you! But I'm willing to be reasonable about this. If you withdraw your units now I'll not seek revenge. And you must know that every unit you throw into this conflict defending Ireland is a unit you'll lose... Greetings, Don President of the usA Dear Ernst I agree. I will remove what is left of my fleets and aircraft. Iceland has desimated my war mechine. I hope those cartoonists are kind to my people. We don't have a sense of humour round here. I have xbilbao now and the money we rip off the Spainish is huge. Now I can build my nice little Ju-88's. Good Luck with your attack on Norway. I never expected that!
