The block invading Italy at the moment is pretty strong, they are advancing on every front with little setbacks. I've just received my weekly updated territory chart. And I have to say that I find your progress in Spain very disappointing... We are approaching T30 and you still haven't conquered all of Spain! The army in xbilbao has had no MUN for 5 times now but there is a fort (Lerendary) and my army gets blown away every time I attack. I can only think it is rebounding bullits. I had to retreat 2 turns back and draw re-enforcements. I also built MECH 41 into my army this time. I was using only INF 39's and MOTOR 40's. Now I'm up to 18 div's with 5 MECH 41's whereas I only 9 INF 39's and 2 MOTOR 40's. My attack and my defence is like double it was. We'll see if the Spainish can hang on next turn. The Monk Monk, You are correct. A defencive army will sustain a DFP reduction of only 50% for munition shortfall... See quote below from the rules. Insufficient Munitions Supply will affect both the attacker and the defender but it will have a more pronounced affect on the attacker. An attacking force with insufficient munitions supply will suffer a temporary reduction in Offensive Firepower and Air Defense ratings equal to the percentage shortfall in munitions supply. A 20% munitions supply shortfall will, for example, result in a 20% reduction in the force's Offensive Firepower and Air Defense ratings. A defender force will suffer a temporary reduction in Defensive Firepower and Air Defense ratings equal to 50% of the percentage shortfall in munitions supply. A 20% munitions supply shortfall for a defending force will result in a 10% reduction in the force's Defensive Firepower and Air Defense ratings. Hope this helps.
