looker
1. If you had purchased $1000.00 of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. 2. With Enron, you would have had $16.50 left of the original $1000.00. 3. With WorldCom, you would have had less than $5.00 left. 4. If you had purchased $1000 of Delta Air Lines stock you would have $49.00 left. 5. But, if you had purchased $1,000.00 worth of beer one year ago, drank all the beer, then turned in the cans for the aluminum recycling REFUND, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, the best current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle. It's called the 401-K(eg) Plan This is from one of the wife's e-mail forwardings. One guy stood out in my mind as a source (souse?) of this thought. Looks like the brewmaster is out there in real life
Kurassier
I can honestly say we have nothing to do with the collapse of Enron. Our sale of 2 million shares 2 days before the collapse had absolutely nothing to do with it and was purely coincidental. ON the other hand, we have opened our 14th recycling planet due to the immense volume! and you can find recycling centers at each and every StarBars!
