B'tai Hazra
Hi, Most of the special characters are in some way explained in the rules. But what do administrators help with, do they lower colony attrition or boost resource exploition? Or something totally different? Should I post one at the HW or are they better at my newer worlds? Cheers, Peter "trying to learn some more while waiting for the setup"
Drasn
Primarily they boost resource exploitation. Every Administrator has a chance each turn to boost mining production, so they are useful at any planet doing mining.

ShadowKitsune
Diplomats, Religious Leaders and Merchants also boost production. Scientists are one of the few Special Characters that actually work better away from home, in my experience. Scientists also assist in the surveying of Warp [Jump] Points, although not nearly as well as Explorers do. FWIW, -SK
