Race Pilsner
I have about 33 startups for nations in Victory and I would like to get the seven I am missing. Does anyone have start ups for the nations of Algeria, Baltic States, Bulgaria, Libya, Morocco, Persia, or Saudi Arabia? I will offer any of my other 33 startups one for one in trade. the Wolf
I think it's about time Russ posts all the setups just to prevent any newbees from starting with a disadvantage.

Good for a newbie team to see what countries they could start as to protect each other best.

I got a free setup in the next game thankfully Portugal Paul

Erich von Manstein
Same here. Von Manstein in favor of sharing all setups. Let's face it. Right now the newbies have an even greater DISadvantage. Not my idea of fun. Now How do I post THE zip file? Von Manstein (I made a 'poll' in stategy & tactics. Monty
Being fairly new to this grand sharade I fail to see the advantage in everyone knowing the starting position of all the others. If all nations have the same at the start, although in differnent locations I would think it does not matter. You cannot attack your enemys for a number of turns and by then the situation will have changed. I find the greatest challenge is getting people to be your allies, is it not wiser to get several on your side and kick the little guys out of the game? not being the little guy is a bigger challenge. My morale is so low now with so many at war with me that Lowlands could force peace upon me and that nation has been defeated for several turns. Dig in, build LDB, concrete (talk to Concrete Bob - link). Watch an inspiring movie ( )... You're right 3 after he DW on me, which makes it turn 6. He DA'ed into oporto with a heap of MECH about 5 or 6. I built CAV all in oporto. All my CAV retreated in xoporto. I had nothing to defend lisbon. When you're a newbe even with all the setups you can't defend against a determend experienced attacker that you under estimate. When you don't fully understand the mechanics of the game it's hard enough. He then ATC into lisbon and the next turn xlisbon fell along with all my generals. It was hopeless. If I'd had the setup for Spain I still would not have had a chance. It's a learning curve I had to go through. The best thing to do is don't give up. It's a great game and I know you all agree. If a newbe could play along side an experienced player that would be good for the newbe but in the end he has to make his own mistakes.
