looker Posted January 18, 2004 Report Share Posted January 18, 2004 The whole concept is no more (or less) mind numbing that my diminutive 1.77 M body compared to the view off a mountain side, or at the mountain, or worst of all the night time view of stars. I guess I prefer Mr Niven's ringworlds to the Dyson plan. For a turtle the Dyson thing would be the ultimate option. Imagine, at 2.7 x10 to the 16th miles how long a ground level trip would take.
