nfbeerse
Hello, Can anyone help me with the following: How do I get an AIR group on a carrier. I think it is with an OMA BT, but how do I get them on the carrier. Is there a difference in orders when the carriers are in port or at sea? Thanks, Norbert
RTGRuss
Can anyone help me with the following: How do I get an AIR group on a carrier. Issue your OMA, BT mission as you would for a normal base transfer - the only difference when going to a fleet is that you give the naval force ID # as the last location on your route. If at sea - fly to the sea zone where the naval force is located then give the naval force ID. If at port - fly to the port city where the naval force is located and then add the naval force ID at the end.
nfbeerse
Is a city not always the last location in an airmission, or is it an exception when doing a base transfer to a navalforce? Norbert
Kurassier
The number of the TF will be the last to enter on the order. For Example: I want to fly my 3rd airforce group to land on my 40th naval group. If AF 3 is at xJerusalem and TF 40 is at xTelaviv, then my order would be as follows: "OMA BT 3 no night/day TELAVIV 40" Same scenario but TF 40 is at Med 28, order would be: "OMA BT 3 no night/day TELAVIV MED29 MED28 40" the "no" and "night/day" of course depend on other factors. Hope this helps. Tim
nfbeerse
Thanks Tim. This helps. So I do not have to list the port where the TF is located. Norbert
Kurassier
You're welcome. No you do not have to list the port as in "xtelaviv" just the province "telaviv". At least this has been working for me.
