Hamish
Hi there, I created a website that gives information about the setup positions in a game of Victory! It's an interactive map that shows details for a province when you click on it too. I hope you find it useful! http://victory-info.azurewebsites.net Hamish

Hamish
Thanks! I'm trying to add a part where you can upload your turn results, and a map will be generated for you automatically, but that's proving to be quite difficult. I'm also afraid I might run into the limits of what a free Azure website allows regarding memory and processor capacity. Hamish
Hamish
Since this is a hobby project, it's been a while. Made a small update to the site where it will now highlight the selected province on the map. May not seem like much, but it's the first step to creating personalized maps. Inspector Gadget
This is probably off topic I know, but I'll ask anyways. I'm having a problem with VICMAN. In trying to use it for my last two turn results, I keep getting the following error message - One window says: Constructing AIC network map....." which stops at 12% And then the last window says: "General protection fault in module VICMAN.EXE at 0002:0097" I've tried re installing VICMAN. I've taken Russ's advice and deleted certain lines in my .vic file that he said may be causing a problem. Any other advice? Thanks in advance! Inspector Gadget
Oh, and VICMAN seems to be opening my prior .vic files just fine.
coothunter
My VICMAN works great on older versions of WINDOWS, but I can't get it to work on any newer computers with newer versions of windows. I also can't get it to work on a MAC. As my old computers die, I am losing my ability to use VICMAN.
Hamish
I have not created the VICMAN program, and could not modify it even if I had the source code, since it was written in a programming language I do not know. In the end, the idea is to create a website that replaces VICMAN, but that's probably a few years off, unless you all want to send me some money so I can quit my job and start building full-time. don
I just bought a new computer with Windows 8.1 and the Victory entry program won't work. All of the other Victory open but I get a note"software not comparable contact software writer". Does anyone have this problem or a solution? Hamish
Are you using the old 'DOS' entry program, or the new 'Windows' one?
