Azuth Posted February 18, 2004 Report Posted February 18, 2004 Welcome to Arachnid News Network (ANN)!! Today's poll is sponsored by S.L.A.P. (Slave Labor And Prisoners) Corp. Working your enemies today for a better tomorrow! Growing Pains? Can't handle the baby boom? What are today's Empire growth rate and how are they handling it? That's this weeks question on Galactic Pulse. Quote
Octus Imperium Posted February 25, 2004 Report Posted February 25, 2004 Just rolled over to 651 last turn. Your timing and poll ranges made perfect sense to the Imperium. Currently, hoping for a QUALITY set of results for turn #11 running in the near future (but these last two days ALWAYS feel like 2 months waiting for results) and have no bottleneck with POP yet. Have a big surplus that three new colonies should love to gobble up. In other words, looking forward to the time when 651 new POP every turn will seem like too few! Octus Imperium Quote
Locklyn Posted March 14, 2004 Report Posted March 14, 2004 Anyone else notice that neutrals are really slow breeders /Locklyn Quote
Ixitixl Posted March 15, 2004 Report Posted March 15, 2004 I have two extremes... One neutral gains 1 pop per turn and one empire (who joined willinginly) has never gained a pop. They were a small (or tiny?) and never grew bigger than the original poulation of 10. Perhaps I need to build a Starbucks there and get some alcohol into the population to encourage some reproduction. Quote

Are your people capable of fermenting their larva food, or shall we start shipping you some tasty mead? Quote
