Justinian
May you enjoy the holidyas. As to Roman leftovers...it must be a very large helping as we're all still here Although we must admit that all citizens are working 80 hr weeks on tank traps, pillboxes, and siegeworks. But morale is high since everyone is enjoying the new museum displaying pieces of defeated Go'ald, Eyre, Pride, and Tentacle vessels

MadMartinB
That would be me...the list of empires on the Romans side is large.. 5 of Locklyn's empires, Romans/Valkor played by Mr. B, Boo Consulate + secondary empire, Eternus and his 4 empires etc.... It seems to be 12 to 4 (or 18 to 4.... we can't keep track of the count)

It would be interesting for us avid spectators to see a comprehensive list of empires on both sides of this clash of alliances. Is "Go'ald, Eyre, Pride, and Tentacle" a list of your alliance? Go'ald is (leader System Lord Ra): The Go'ald # 3841 [Jaws Devouring A Sun With Vines Wrapping The Sun] Is "Pride" the Pridelands, or perhaps the Gosht Kohr? The Pridelands Empire #2237 "Tentacle" = Tentacled Horrors From Beyond (Slish and friends)? Tentacled Horrors From Beyond (#3164) Emblem: Tentacled Horror Devouring Planet And of course you are the Eyre. I found on this BBS that the Romans are ROM Roman Empire # 760 'Golden Eagle Enshrouded By A Wreath Of Olive Branches' Any other cast members care to take a bow? Lord Claw
Although we must admit that all citizens are working 80 hr weeks on tank traps, pillboxes, and siegeworks. But morale is high since everyone is enjoying the new museum displaying pieces of defeated Go'ald, Eyre, Pride, and Tentacle vessels Justinian, we are curious as to how you have Pride vessels, we have lost ships to The Eyre, Tentacle Horrors and most recently to Valkor a former ally with whom we had been trying to link up with. Alas our ship did enter space via a one way near you and upon trying to exit to avoid getting blown up our explorer encountered our former ally Valkor, who promptly attacked and obliterated the explorer with our emporer aboard (had a diplomat on board due to former rules that have been changed). We have been unable to contact our former ally Valkor (his holochannel no longer works), but have heard from the galatic grapevine that you and he are fairly close. So we are guessing that Valkor must have brought the remanents of our former ship to you. Based on this we have stopped all exploration in this region of space as there are to many empires just willing to shoot first in this region and it appears that our former ally is no longer an ally so there is no reason to try and find a 2 way connection. Galreth
I'll be happy to field that question, Lord Claw. The Star Kingdom of Valkor graciously provided some momentos to the Romans as they beseeched us to interdict your vessel in their space as it was exploring unannounced. If you were indeed looking to make contact with us, perhaps an announcement of your intentions would have been worthwhile considering you arrived via the identical path of known hostiles, who if we are to believe it, you know nothing about. As to being unable to contact us on previous "holochannel", that excuse card has already been played multiple times by the Erye. Please note that this very medium has the ability to convey private message traffic Yet somehow, the fact you could not contact us should allay our suspicions about the merit of your actions? We call it watching our back to ensure no more knives are found there. You are correct about one point though--we are your FORMER ally. Valkor takes collaboration with the enemy seriously. We did not make any public accusations as we were willing to write you off as an old, yet misguided empire. We do not actively seek to engage your forces, but entering a system that 5 empires use as a battleground, is bad form, period. Valkor sends. Although we must admit that all citizens are working 80 hr weeks on tank traps, pillboxes, and siegeworks. But morale is high since everyone is enjoying the new museum displaying pieces of defeated Go'ald, Eyre, Pride, and Tentacle vessels Justinian, we are curious as to how you have Pride vessels...
