That's mainly the reason I'd suggest the Fighters. They attack with 100%, they can be launched from long range and the fire missiles, which the Bastion has no defences against. I suspect that Martin's fighters would cream the Bastion long before he needed any other weapons. This is why my Bastion is long gone and the parts are flying around now. My HW now has better Defence Forts and a Research Base. All have CIDS and Fighter Bays, as well as better armour and Force Shields.
