Any chance that we can get a variable exclusion list similar to the global exclusions? I can think of loads of basic things I don't want recycled, such as:

 

colony beacons

drone racks

fighter bays

repair bays

construction materials

colonial berths

 

I am sure there are others out there as well.

There are....just to add a few to the list :

 

Cargo Bays

Fuel tankage

Fuel Shuttles

No need for an exclusion list, just set-up the recycling centres in a separate colony next to your main colony, any items you want recycled transfer over.

 

Hence the big disclaimer of take care, you don't build these in your main colony.

yes it is a recycle center .... u need 1st gen social engineering to get it

More colonies is really not what I need at this point. Fewer colonies with less obsolete stuff is what I need. But, all is good so we shall see how they work when they get turned on.

I'd be interested to see certain Advanced Goods (e.g., Advanced Consumer Goods, Advanced Plantfood, etc etc) be recycled. Maybe the only ones which shouldn't be recycled are ACM, Adv. Electronics, Adv. Lumber, Adv. Steel, and Adv. TransA?

 

Pete, do you think that would be possible? I don't have a lot of those (mostly?) useless Advanced Goods lying around but would be nice to break them down.

I would like to be able to recycle anything in the pop group and to have it work more like a global order where I can choose different things to ignore. I have several 100M Advanced Heavy Machinery I would really like to recycle... in addition I would like to not worry about my newly built fuel tanks getting recycled on the following turn...
