General Miles Avatar
In case any of you are wondering Class H warp points have a fuel usage modifier of 49 and apparently can be surveyed with Mk III JSS's.

Prospective
So, would an 'I' WP have a fuel usage modifier of 64 then? Has anyone seen an 'I' or a 'J' type WP??? Just curious what the highest letter WP has ever been found in game.
ali-t-akua
How many Mk III JSSs and I would expect an I to be 64. Highest I have run into is a H btw.

ali-t-akua
General, how many JSSs did it take to crack the H?
General Miles Avatar
General, how many JSSs did it take to crack the H? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> We had just 1 Mk III JJS on the survey ship that made the successful survey. We also had a Ranger level explorer on board during the SURV mission. NO other facilities helped out but.... this may have been one of those times when racial traits helped as our EXM racial mod is our 2nd highest. And here is the best part!!! That Mk III JJS wasnt even built by our race. It was traded for with one of my neighbors. Trade is GOOD!

The J WP and half the G WPs are waiting for specialists to unlock their secrets.

Man, we gotta get out more
looker
Just hope your I and J wp are not in a nexus. In a system the astro ob and science inst on a small (micro) colony will multiply your JSS rating.

In a system the astro ob and science inst on a small (micro) colony will multiply your JSS rating. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> with a Mk IV JSS and perhaps a Legendary explorer and Master Scientist I bet 1 of my survey ships could crack both those warp points. Seems racial exploration modifiers give a substantial bonus. I might be able to do it with a few MK III's.
hobknob
Have you confirmed racial bonuses as compared to thoes without bonuses on the same WP's. I thought Pete had mantioned that there weren't any racial bonuses that would effect WP survey missions.

Maybe I was just lucky?
EternusIV
Could be that the distance was in your favor...the 'hidden' factor Pete referred to in his last Q&A?
