Phoenix Arisen
They gathered, and through some ancient memory they knew they had gathered before. A legend was spoken of, the legend of a bird called the Phoenix. A bird said to live 500 years then consume itself on a pyre of fire, only to be reborn again from the ashes, and to live yet again. The legend spoke to their hearts, and they knew they were of this Phoenix. They were the empires of old reborn, to live again. Faint memories spoke of each having been destroyed in a vast war of fire, a war violent and deadly. Winners they were, if anyone could be called a winner in such a war. Yet, even the conquerors were destroyed. Planets and stars were devastated, life itself was eradicated from immense sectors of the galaxy, yet this destruction, this pervasive extermination, served only to pave the way for the rebirth. As with the Phoenix, the new empires rose from the ashes of the old, and came together. As fortold in the prophecy, as is their unalterable destiny, lowly they gather. The Phoenix Empires once again unite and together they proclaim their alliance, Phoenix Arisen.

Balagor
Sha'thar blinks! Are... they... birds? Mayhaps it is time to form an Avian Alliance, to put an end to the schemes of those Foul Felonious Felines

T'Lariss
The Boo find the unintelligent cats on our world to be quite tasty. We of the Ta-Lonne feel that Felines are stringy and bland, they do make fine pets though and their little claws make pleasing sounds as they scrape against our (heavy plate) Skin. Sha'thar of the Gosht Kohr
Sha'thar blinks. Felonious Felines? She looks nothing like Julie Newmar, thank you very much. And... she's curious as to the relative size of the creatures which call themselves the 'Ta-lonne.' It's hard to tell relative sizes over electronic media. She suspects, however, the it wouldn't be 'claws' scraping against thick hide. but rather 'claw.' She and her hunting sisters could be considered to be 'Sinbadian,' scale-wise. Um... of course, the Gosht Kohr are -much- more interested in developing trade and ritual contests of combat, as opposed to actual -war-. While not truly "Gigantic' in size we are very close, so i doubt that a single claw would be sufficient. However if you are nterested in a little friendly testing we could do say 1 unit of imperial guards infanty on a neutral world (assuming that we run into one another) It would be a good test of our comparitivve combat skills. for while you may nbe larger out regenertive skills are without peer As for trade, we are always looking for a decent and trustworthy trade partner Witch-King T'Lariss the Great The Ta-Lonne Hegemony
Sha'thar of the Gosht Kohr
Sha'thar hmmms. "It sounds as if you and your people would make worthy allies for the huntresses of the Gosht Kohr. I hope we meet in the space-lanes! Together, we shall search for new hunting grounds and seek nourishment in the ruins of toh-kee-oh. We shall be feared by our foes, and held in awe by our allies! If we have a chance, we shall accept your challenge! ( Editor's note: As fate would have it, 'toh-kee-oh' is the collective noun in the language of the Gosht Kohr which means 'dwelling places of many small tasty, badly-dubbed tidbits.' )

Our collective knowledge spans years and parsecs, each veterans of conflits such as these and masters of trade. In time we shall encounter each of you, the results should be... interesting. We are the Phoenix Arisen from the ashes of conquest.
Kurassier
Greetings Phoenix! If you are in fact, 'risen from the ashes' and you are made of flame, then would beer put you out? or make the flames stronger? If the latter, you should join HBOB as that works for us.
