Slish - "How is the retooling project coming along?" Minion #1 - "Quite well. However we have hit a problem. We have run out of spare population to work the improved industrial complexes. Because of this we have started to dismantle the older complexes to build the improved ones on the same sight, and thus, recycle the workforce. We are still increasing our production capacity but not as fast as before." Slish - "Hmmmm, I see. It's the best solution for now. Have you finished the details on the medical centers?" Minion #1 - "Yes we have. They will work quite nicely and should help increase our population growth splendidly. The exact increase is still unknown at this time. I do suggest that we build the first ones on our colony to help off-set the conditions there. Slish - nods. "Make it so. Now, on to naval matters. What's the progress on our efforts to picket the warp points in our area?" Minion #1 - "The first 2 picket ships will leave the slips in a little less than 2 weeks. After that, it's just a matter of time before we have all routes into our territory protected." Slish - "Do the captains understand their orders?" Minion #1 - "Yes, sir. If it isn't a Tentacled Horror ship, shoot it until it blows up."
