Thanks for all your hard work on this invaluable tool. -SK Thanks Though I programmed it mainly for myself Maybe so but it is a very useful tool. I find it a quick way to calculate how much fuel tankage and the shortest route between two systems among other things. Mapmaking is also much easier with this tool and graphwiz. Marvin
I too appreciate you sharing your work. Would you also be willing to share the source code?
cestvel
Sure, I post it next weekend, as I have no access to it during the week.
cestvel
The Source, as requested. I use a rather old Visual C++ 6.0 SNFindPath Source

ali-t-akua
Yet another new Version: SNFindPath207.zip You can now list systems within or at a specific range. Thanks cestval. One question. Is there a way to print the list of systems in range?
hobknob
Highlight the systems, copy, paste and print. Seems to work for me.
cestvel
After some time, I think I can release yet another new Version: SNFindPath212.zip Most prominent enhancement is, that you are able to store your path into your orders mdb. Convoy, movement and survey options are available.

cestvel
Oh, and it cannot handle the rare occasion when you can do a WARP, WARP without a MOVE in between. That is, because the info of teh exit WarpPoints is not stored in the mdb in the first place. So you will waste one not needed MOVE (or edit your orders with the entry program). Some other points: - you can leave you entry program open - orders added by SNFindPath are not seen immediatly, just add another order and you will see them. rotor911
I didn't have the occasion to download and try this new version yet but thanks a lot. Your program was already an immense help (I don't see how I could have continued to to play past the first year if it hadn't be there) but these new addons will certainly save me a lot of nervous breakdowns
Lord Uriel
Cestvel, I just encountered my first error message. "failed with hr=-2147467259" I received this when I loaded the data file. Thoughts? Thanks, Lord Uriel
