Krelnett_of_Kraan Posted May 30, 2008 Report Share Posted May 30, 2008 Heavy, slow weapons like Torpedoes could be alot more effective if enemy ships were pinned down by heavy laser fire or slowed down by tractor beams. As an SFB player, I've actually found that it's the other way around. I use my heavy slow-firing torpedoes to herd my opponent into a corner and mug him with my phasers. But the point is still valid.
