Seph
Certain areas seem extra quiet. The calm before the storm?
dageraad
The moment had to come when the Persian army finally comitted itself against the slowly encroaching Emirate troops. And the front went BOOM !. And there were many wailings and tears in the Emirate households this month.
Earthling
Just a last hoorah before the end.
dageraad
Yes, well, I regret to inform you that there will be even more wailing in the Persian houiseholds We both made a mistake in the defensive nission orders and yours was the costliest one
Earthling
Too many contingencies to cover. Which attack would succeed, what would be controlled and what wouldn't at the end of the action as well as actually caring about the outcome being in my favor...last hoorah and all. The salting has already begun.
dageraad
You're taking the fun out of winning. And historically salting the ground wasn't done to ones own empire while it is still alive and kicking hard.

dageraad
The salting has already begun. Good. I prefer my meals slightly salted
dageraad
New map: Â Â Â - Is the conquest of xMarseilles a serious counter or a pinprick? - Is there a serous war in the Northeast or just a formal declaration of war? - Is the battle for Iraq over or do the Southern Russians/Persians plan a surprise? - Is Iceland still active? Canada?
Falco
The Spanish dictator took xMarseille to murder more French citizens. Yugoslav food and medical transports were sent to xMarseille to relieve the suffering when paratroopers captured these supplies with the city. These paratroopers immidiately fled to the harbor where ships were waiting for them. Â Those troopers that fled the scene and left the city in turmoil have been punished, as the Yugoslav high command sent in a full air strike to blow the ships sent to fetch the scum to smithereens. dageraad
So, the Yugoslav position is vulnerable to Paradrops. Nice to know that....
Reece
You probably shouldn't return. Those ships were full of French trying to escape the Yugoslavia occupation for the Free french shores of Corsica. Anyway the bombing along with the total lack of any industrial jobs has stirred up quite a lot of anti Yugoslavia partisans. Should keep your security forces busy for a while. Have fun, RIck

Have fun, RIck  Yes of course, 2 AK filled with refugees. Just enough room to hold 3 air40's, I'd say.  My security forces will indeed be busy to get the population of Marseille to believe in peace again, after you've made them suffer the atrocities of shelling a city from the sea and food deprivation. Meanwhile, you sit safely behind Moroccan troops defending your border.
dageraad
I see a nice endgame confrontation in the making....
Reece
Don't worry we told the populace that it was Yugo ships doing the bombardment. After all France is only at war with Yugoslavia and considers Spain a TA. Have fun, RIck
