Game 91

I did state my position very clearly, the statesmanship has been lacking in this game. Some games are great, others are disasters. Our TA group was willing to continue if just one of us wanted to remain, we voted and as a group decided we did not wish to continue. From my own personal point of view it was the FP BPA DW that was the killer, Portugal was battered with it and then it was tried on me and GB. It may be in the rules of the game but not in the spirit. We all know Portugal trashed his treasury but I was running close to the bone many turns so the tactic worked once and failed twice, the fact it was being tried was what left a bitter taste and from a nation so far away it would never have been possible to fight a true war. It was an economic war hell bent on destroying nations to the point of dropping, I was not willing to spend hard earned cash to fund anothers fun.

Game Over

That is a weak excuse. You even owned your entire country. The ME TA did that to me while invading my country, making it impossible to retake parts of my country. Make the best of it and learn from it. I can tell you that tactic will be very difficult to pull on me in future games. But I didn't quit. I still had provinces and some army left. When all of my divisions and all of my cities are gone, then I would check with my TAs to see if they still needed me.

The truce period will soon end. In this short time of truce the Syrian forces were reorganized and the guns were polished. The Bulgarian aggression against our Turkish brothers must end. For the sake of peace we urge the Bulgarian yoghurts and Romanian vampires to step in there boats and return to the European shores. Otherwise we see no other option than to use our just cleaned guns. :)

I'm convinced! Of course, they never listen to me.

Reports are that in the favored haunts of the 24th Rumainian fighter group, and the 5th bombing group there are whisperings. After their first encounter with the Southern Russian Air Force there is talk of some unnatural "Blizzard", that blinded the fighter pilots allowing the bombers to be attacked.. These mumblings are apparently even circulated at the highest level.

Now who would have ever thought Rumainians would be superstitious?

Actually, the Rumanian bomber pilots complained that they would have snuck past the interceptors if they didn't have to SLOW DOWN for their 'escort' to keep up with them... :ninja:

wow more dropped nations..all the islands have quit at the prospect of fighting the norwegians...our fighters grow fat and lazy at the early capitulation of the enemy...two wars, two fronts and the enemy quit both times...very disappointing...

Good thing your other front revived then... the Persians are not quite ready to surrender. :cannon:

Dateline Stalingrad:

Reports into thus office from Marshall Voroshilov's staff indicate that the 50th army fresh from acceptting the mass surrender of the the 22nd army has pivoted and engaged the Rumainian 10th army forcing their retreat in to the village of Taganrog.

Genaral Zhukov's staff confirms the 32nd army has taken xKarlauka with its airbase housing approximately 4000 planes accepting the surrender of the 28th army. Among the Rumainian casualties was General Abaluta. Who had commanded the 22nd army in their pillaging of xSevastopal, then abandoned them to their fate when he was surprised and surrounded. He did not escape being surprised again. He will be missed, it takes a special commander to lead 27 armored divisions with 3 airborne to such rapid anihilation. Rumers of him being executed by his own staff are not confimed as of now.

Air Marshall Smirnov who had such a fetish for his paper and cloth fighters was also found dead. One doubts his successor will embrace the same ideas..

Both Marhall Voroshilov and General Zhukov caution that the fighting is far from over. They empathized how pleased and proud they are of our soldiers conduct and accomplisments to date.

Bah! This sounds like typical Russian propaganda to me!
