High notes could be handled by various firecrackers, mid-range by various mixtures of plastique, TNT, black powder and such, and for the really profound low notes... We received the pdf on 04/09/04 at 10:55pm. We received the Datafile on 04/10/04 at 5:19 am. In 1980 we would have consider that a bloody miracle. Now we wonder what the hell is taking so long. Comcast's mail server is very picky and doesn't let us send too many attachments in one sitting - it takes a while to get them all out. Those halcion days when they come down fivish on Friday are treasured memories. If it weren't for the constant e-mail checks just hoping for a break on Friday night the "ready to go" messages in my in-box on Saturday would be OK. Many of us complained (including me), so the deadline day was moved from Thursday to Wednesday, and now SNROTE results arrive ... late on Friday or early on Saturday. Are game turns taking longer to process? Now that Empires are encountering each other, all those hand-moderated battles must be slowing things down.
