Sadly, in the same breath i have to note that this is the most thankless return, afterthe gesture of allowing Tunisia to grab some spare morale if needed, that i could think of. I'm sure Edwin (the perpetrator) and Hamish (the collaborator) know what i'm talking about. It's a small help for Syria in the military sense (the Tigers there were out of FUEL anyway), but a huge blow to the respect that was there. Even you, Nils? I was the one leaving the proposal out there, at first because i didn't have the orders for the PAPW, but after turn 49 it was pretty clear he would lose his homeland so i left it out there just in case (did i mention i really hate FP?). Hamish was the one taking it, but apparently not for morale reasons, as obviously i now have to BPA and DW. I would have thrown it to a fluke idea by Syria (i suddenly owned a province in Algeria too, but that was ceded to me by Spain without my knowledge or consent and i gave it back the following turn) if it had not been for the acceptance of the ALL-proposal just before. Ah well, i guess i will just need to DW on everyone and have Switzerland take the province by air drop. Somehow i doubt there will be much FC or any divisions there... Oh, he sent me his battle reports against you, we've been sharing our BR's for a year now as his TA's dropped or were/are very erratic in sharing intel. See, unlike many players here, apparently you included, i actually play this game to have fun not just with people i happen to ally with, instead i see also (the better part of) my opponents as people i play the game WITH, even if i wage in-game war against them. Northern Russia and i have been exchanging cordial PM's and messages for a long time, we share battle reports so neither of us is blinded (well, mostly i send them to him for that purpose as i have enough TA's to not be blinded anyway) and we even show each other the 'other' battle reports, in my case so he sees how the war around Stalingrad is going, in his case i see how he's fighting against you. Both of us get additional enjoyment from seeing more of what happens in the game. Shockerrrrrr! It seems it's a novel idea for you, but you can actually enjoy an exciting wargame WITH your fellow players, regardless of whether they are positioned AGAINST you on the battlefield.
