Why are there only Dutch and Americans playing victory?

There are quite a lot of players active that have played Victory long ago, when Victory was co-hosted by the PBM express in Dordrecht, the Netherlands.

That was in the days before email arose as an alternative.

I discovered that RTG was still active only four years ago and that brought in a group of old and new Dutch players, And I guess that we Dutch do like to compensate for the fact that we live in a small country that should be under water by trying to take over the virtual world.

If some of the German players from 20 years ago would "rediscover" victory you would probably see a substantial flow of German players.

Yup, (Dutch) Victory! games 3, 5 and 13 here! :D

We spread our addiction through the gaming society of one Dutch university, and on this day over half of the RTG-Dutchies seem to have come from/via that gaming society... i guess gaming bonds are strong!:thumbsup::cheers:

I know two current Swiss players who also played at The PBM-E. :D

Wonder who of the current crop, besides the Dutchies and them, played via Dordrecht...

Says the Canadian?!? :joker:

That is amusing, isn't it!

But technically, even Canadians are from America (the continent). That, or its a Freudian slip that he'd rather be inside the USA~
