A-a-a-a-a-nd, now it starts! :D

Happy St.Patrick's Day, you heathens! :)

;):cheers:

Who is the Patron Saint of Guiness?

You would have to ask Kurassier, Acolyte of all that's Holy in our Order. :(

But don't be surprised if it turns out to be St.Timothy! <_<

Stupid St. Pat's Stats:

On a normal day, Earth consumes about 5.5 million pints of Guinness. On March 17th, worldwide consumption jumps to about 13 million pints.

There are about 34 million people in the U.S. who claim to be of Irish descent. That's more than 8 times the current population of Ireland.

And to dampen the mood ..

Globally nearly 200 people die each day in alcohol related deaths, with another 6500 being injured to varying degrees (from minor to crippled). So enjoy your Guinness .. but be careful out there .. if you intend on having a lot of fun/drinking make sure you arrange for a ride for when the fun is over.

And definately do NOT drink on Thanksgiving, when most driving deaths in the US occur. Isn't it wonderful that families drive so many people to drink on that holiday, that they carelessly rush home to get away from each other.

Now I'm depressed. Good thing I don't drink.

What is it you think Irish boys do once they get to the land of the free? Right after their next Guinness, of course. And they are very good at making little Irish people. My grandmother did not do too poorly in that category. An piece old Irish wives wisdom; never ask a person if he is Irish, if he is, he would have told you by now, if he isn't the embarrassment might be more than he can handle. ;)

Irish women are wonderful but a lot like handling live explosives, it's all fun and games untill you wake up missing vital body parts :)

Here's remembering you Catriona, and the fields in the morning sunlight...oh how youth is wasted on the young ;)

I love my love in the morning,

For she like morn is fair -

Her blushing cheek, its crimson streak,

Its clouds her golden hair.

Her glance, its beam, so soft and kind;

Her tears, its dewy showers;

And her voice, the tender whispering wind

That stirs the early bowers.

I love my love in the morning,

I love my love at noon,

For she is bright as the lord of light,

Yet mild as autumn's moon;

Her beauty is my bosom's sun,

Her faith my fostering shade,

And I will love my darling one,

Till even the sun shall fade.

I love my love in the morning,

I love my love at eve;

Her smile's soft play is like the ray

That lights the western heaven;

I loved her when the sun was high,

I loved her when she rose;

But best of all when evening's sigh

Was murmuring at its close.

Love my Love in the Morning

by Gerald Griffin (1803 - 1840)
